Managing the daily pace of learning with the existing whiteboard setup was becoming difficult to manage on a day-to-day basis. The classrooms were struggling with older scratched whiteboards and a growing issue around space which had a growing impact on student attention.

Implementation: The installation process was smooth, thanks to the support of Maria Dowd at OPD. Maria’s ongoing assistance and dedication made the installation process seamless, and she continues to support the school’s technological needs.

Solution

With the installation of the MAXHUB B8610 86” interactive screen, teachers at Okaihau College have revolutionised their classroom experience. The interactive screen allows them to:

• Fill in information directly on slide decks.

• Demonstrate step-by-step problem-solving by showing their “working out” in real time.

• Take screenshots of their work, which students can access later for review.

• Present content on a large and clear screen so that all students can easily see the material.
